RECAP: HOT 97 SETS IT OFF

Do you think the blazing hip-hop and R&B hits work up enough fire? Hot 97 hosted its annual Summer Jam Concert at the '08 "Superbowl Champs" Stadium this past Sunday and it definitely heightened the audiences’ temperature.

Not only did T-Pain, Kanye and Public Enemy rip the stage, but surprise performances from LL Cool J, Swiss Beats and Shawty Lo had people thirsty for more.

Hot 97 also gave audience a surprise performance by Jim Jones and Juelz Santana. Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, D-Block, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Akon, and Young Jeezy, offered lively performances that had the crowd singing every lyric.

Now for some reason, Rihanna hadn’t graced the crowd with her harmonious “Umbrella” melodies. She was totally MIA and left audiences extremely upset and irritated not to see her --So much for telling someone else to “take a bow.”

Even with her absence the show was still off the chains so ring the alarm because it can only get hotter!
