RECAP: 230 BAR

(Photo: 230 Fifth Ave Rooftop Bar)

My jetsetting fab family member AtlFab Dude! was out and about in NYC this past weekend. Check out his recap of one of my favorite city spots 230 Fifth Ave. Bar!

I thought I'd be completely out of my element in the city that never sleeps. But who am I kidding, Kaluskie has a blast ANYWHERE he goes! And Saturday night at 235th was nothing different. I was suddenly thrust back into the fabulous world of the truly rich and semi-famous...lol. As soon as I exited my cab, I knew I wasn't visiting a "regular club."

There's no cover-charge. But fellas, unless you're a complete baller (and you promise the promoters that you'll buy a bottle or two, once inside) or you come with a group of BEAUTIFUL women, then you can kiss you chances of getting into this high rise lap of pseudo-luxury. I roll with fabulous folk, so I had no problem walking right up to the VIP line with my friend, Ashley B., and getting whisked to the elevator that took us to the 20th floor. It did rain Saturday night, put the weather, CLEARLY, didn't put a damper on the evening as beautiful people partied the night away.

A mix of euro-chic and sexy sleek, patrons were dressed to impress and danced the night away to the sounds of mixed hiphop and house music. But beware...the drinks at this party aren't cheap. Plan on spending in the upwards of $15+ for a cocktail. I suggest you pre-game before you go, and save your money for the cab ride home...

Keep it fab:)

New Fab Spot: 230 5th Avenue

After a long day at work there's nothing like going to a nice after work spot with great music and strong drinks. As a city girl I'm always looking for a fab! place and happily stumbled upon my new "it" spot 230 5th Ave Bar.

Filled with plush couches, chairs, friendly waiters, old school and soul music; you can't help but feel at home when you first arrive. The waiters and bartenders treat you like your their best friend, clearly trying to get you to spend lots of money and that we did!

The drinks were very strong. I got one of my favs, an apple martini and it was perfect! If you're looking for a new summer hangout, I def reccomend 230 5th Ave. to you. The rooftop bar is sure to be a win on a warm summer day!

Stay Fab Yall:)
