REVIEW: SEX AND THE CITY THE MOVIE

DON'T WORRY I'M NOT SPOILING THE MOVIE IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT!

Like most young 20-something women in NYC, I was BEYOND excited to see Sex and The City The Movie last night. I was ready to see the ending of the four women I had fallen in love with over the last six years. Honestly, I feel like I know Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Samantha (no really I do)!

It was a feeling in the city air yesterday as women from all walks of life went shopping for their best "Carrie" outfit or whatever character they loved most. I have never been so excited to see a movie in my life (with the exception of Dreamgirls). Candace Bushnell started a movement when she created these characters!

My girls and a few of our fabulous male friends attended the screening at the AMC 34th Street Movie Theater. The line was unbelievable and I almost got trampled over as women and men ran into the theater to get the best seats.

The movie is hysterical, sad and amazing; it's everything I wanted it to be and a little bit more. Many people have different views of it and thought it was poorly written but I strongly disagree. Do not go into the movie expecting it to be the movie of the year. Still, Sex and The City is a popular television show and this movie was simply an extension of that. They did this for the fans, to give us some type of ending, some kind of ever after. Be grateful!

I know I am!
