RECAP| JO JO FLORES AT THE HUDSON BAR

I had an absolute blast last night dancing to the rhythmic sounds of Jo Jo Flores at the Hudson Bar (356 W. 58th). The event was thrown by Giant Events.

1. When you first enter into the Hudson you automatically feel as if you're being taken into a secret world that only the most cool folk know about. The lights are low, the elevators glow in the dark (shade of green) and the Hudson employees are simply beautiful (shout out to the cutie at the front door)!

2. Tall and might I add handsome men and women dressed in black greet you at the front door to make sure your names are on the "list" and let you in. I immediately wanted to dance as soon as I stepped foot into the bar, Jo Jo was blasting music that I had never heard before, it was a techno type of a beat with an African drum sound; I loved it.

3. At first people were acting shy, sipping their drinks and not dancing, but before we knew it the bar was packed with people from all walks of life break dancing, drinking, and having a great time.

4. If you get hungry they serve no food at the bar, but you can walk across the hall to the Hudson "Cafeteria" which is cool word for an expensive restaurant. My Hamburger was $21 and that's without tax (Thank God for Big Sisters)!

5. The drinks were a bit pricey as well, but delicious none the less. The Hudson is also a great place to take the boo :)
