HABANA OUTPOST OPENING DAY

This weekend was incredibly beautiful in NYC with temperatures reaching almost 80 degrees. Men and women of all backgrounds put on there best summer gear and loaded the children up to head to Brooklyn.

Yes you heard me, all the cool kids were at the opening day of Habana Outpost (757 Fulton St.) in Brooklyn, so you know TheFab! was in the building.

In case you're not familiar with Habanna Outpost it is located in Fort Greene, serves Cuban cuisine but also functions as a community gathering space. Regardless of the location, the food is renowned and the atmosphere welcoming. Habanna is also eco friendly!

You are immediately in a great mood once you step into the Habana atmosphere. The people are friendly, the drinks are AMAZING (frozen mojitos are my fav.), and there's always a great d.j. or a live band playing old school jams.

Another great thing about Habana is that celebs love to frequent it, especially rap stars like BK resident Common and Mos Def. On opening day I was lucky enough to spot the oh so fine actor Malik Yoba (whew so fine!).

However, this isn't the type of place where you'd run up to a celebrity asking for an autograph, they love to come because everyone is so laid back and not worried about whose there.

During the day Habana is family friendly but at night it's for the grown folk! On warm nights they show classic movies on a big screen outside as well as play music.

Habana Outpost
is one of my top five favorite places to go in New York; I highly suggest you check it out!
