For those who didn't know, yesterday afternoon was the African American Parade in Harlem. Thousands of NY'ers came out to watch, as well as participate in the festivities of the day.
The parade stretched from 112th - 142nd on 7th Avenue. The weather was nice, so people came out lookin' crazy (per usual), and of course, the nonsense began. The Black Panthers were out trying to turn back the hands of time to the 70's, people heard gunshots, and of course police security had to be extra tight. Even still, the day was cool cause its NYC so there will always be crazies walking around.
I went out to see my sorors (oo-oop) stroll down the Ave, so check out some of the pics below.
