My girls and I found arrived at Lotus (409 W. 14th) at 2:00 a.m. on Saturday (well technically Sunday morning). After doing much club hopping, we finally settled on partying downtown much to my disappointment or so I thought. Get the scoop is below...

1. No matter what time of night there is always a line outside of Lotus. Fortunately they have heaters and umbrellas outside to keep their guests warm, which is a good look! However, one of the security guards practically got in a fight with some guy on the line, so not fab!

2. My heart dropped when we opened the door and heard loud techno music playing, after all of the club hopping this is what we get? Then I heard Fifty Cent blazing hard from the basement and I found myself racing to see if it was better downstairs and it was (Thank God)!
3. The crowd was mixed with people from all backgrounds of life. The music was a mix of reggaetone, r&b, old school 90's, and hip hop.

4. The drinks were incredibly strong especially the Apple Martini, whew!

Overall, I give Lotus a Fab 5! I had a great time and can't wait to go back!
