NYFab! attended the taping of VH1's 5th Annual Hip Hop Honors on Thursday evening at the Hammerstein Ballroom and it was certainly an interesting evening...
We didn't wait in line too long, and I went through "top flight security" just to enter into the ballroom (I'm mad that a lot of people got away with bringing in their cameras but I was afraid to take the risk...thanks to Shyvonne for the camera phone!). We took mad pics but they came out blurry so I didn't bother posting those...instead I headed to the source!

To be honest, I loved the show last year...maybe because I was hype about the New Jack Swing portion (minus T-Pain's horrible attempt at singing "I Want Her").
Harlem ain't do too well though because Jim and Juelz were fumbling over words all ova the place...no worries tho cause so did everyone else.
Ceelo was great...Q-Tip & Mos Def were of course...Slick Rick re-enacted his infamous video (check pics below)...Eve looked good...Gym Class Heroes kill't it (amazing)...De La Soul still looked good...Biz Markie was Biz Markie (lol)...Tracy Morgan wasn't as funny but it was cool...MC Lyte looked amazing...Naughty by Nature brought the hype (and their kids lol)...and Too Short (my fav) kept saying "whats my favorite word?" LOL
