Isiah Thomas Overdoses on Sleeping Pills

NYFab! is sad to report that sources at CBS Channel 2 have confirmed that former New York Knicks President, Isiah Thomas, has overdosed on sleeping pills.

According to sources, officers were sent to Thomas's home early Friday morning in response to a call stating that he had OD'd on sleeping pills. He was "semi-conscious" when medical units arrived, and he was taken straight to White Plains Hospital where he was treated. Luckily he was released hours later, but it is still unknown whether or not the overdose was deliberate or intentional. According to the Daily News, police say the victim consumed "roughly 10 Lunesta sleeping pills." Barry Watkins, vice president of communications for Madison Square Garden, told The Journal News newspaper, "Isiah is fine."

Thomas
was fired by the Knicks earlier this year after leading the team to a franchise record "for the most losses in a season." Click here to read the rest of the story.
