One of my very best friends invited me to a great reastuarant yesterday called, Sofritos (400 E 57th Street). It was so nice I just had to share it with you!

This Puerto Rican cusine hideaway is perfect for a first date or if you want to go somewhere nice with the boo. Upon entrance you feel as if you stepped out of the hectic NYC scene and into one of Miami's great boardwalk reasturants. The speakers are playing mid tempo latin jams and the hostess treat you as if you're their best friend. We were immediately seated, and our waiter greeted us with fresh warm bread and glasses of ice water.

The food was delicious! I recommend the cod fish or shrimp.
I'm def going back!
