Recap: SOB's
Last night (lol) thefabempire crew was invited to a Hot 97 event that was being held at SOB's (204 Varick St.). The event was to promote up and coming artist and featured Pharell's artist Teyana Taylor. Since Hot 97 host so many events I went (although someone wise advised against it) to check it out, figuring it had to be somewhat ok.
Uh, boy was I wrong. In the "invite only" email they sent out, it read that it would start at 8 p.m.-um wrong! When we arrived at the door, they said it was not starting until 9 p.m...sigh. To make a long story short, the door man was quite rude, the crowd was rowdy, and there were no free food or drinks insight as they so proudly promoted. Well I learned my lesson no more SOB's on Tuesday nights or maybe period.
