As all of you NYFab! fans know, there wasn't much going on in the city this weekend, so we took it upon ourselves to scout some new venues. Check out the recap below:
If you're looking to get some down home southern soul food, Justin Timberlake's reasturant, Southern Hospitality (1460 second ave.) is the place for you! Although it's incredibly small, they play great music (old school r&b, hip hop, and even country), the employees are friendly, and its overall wonderful. If you stop thru I reccomend the catfish, the ribs and the chicken (that's damn near everything)!

Barna's (26th and Park) was POPPIN' this weekend. After discovering this restaurant/lounge through a friend, I found the location to be quite big with two floors. The first floor is best for taking your boo, sitting down and eating while the second floor is for dancing.
The crowd was mixed with people of all races and backgrounds, and the music was pretty good as well. If your looking for a place to relax and kick it with your friends do it at Barna's!

The Chill Lounge (329 Lexington) most certainly lives up to its name, a place to come and relax with friends, all you want to do is kick back and chill with your peeps. During the weekdays before 9 p.m. drinks AND food are ALL half priced, you can't beat that!! The drinks are strong, the service is ehhh, but overall I give it a B+.
