Ok, there was just way too much going on this past holiday weekend; it was kind of overwhelming. However, NYFab! sources hit up the most poppin parties in the city at Strata (915 Broadway) and Providence (311 West 57th St.). Check out the reviews below:
Recap: Strata
"The place was PACKED, I could barely turn around to get a drink, so dancing was out of the question! They started charging $20 at 11 p.m. (booooo). There was no where to sit, the brothers were def not good looking and there were some serious "hood" people up in there. I'd say the only thing poppin at Strata was the DJ. Yep you won't catch me wasting my money there again!"

Ouch....well better luck next time Strata. We may or may NOT see you.

Recap: Providence
The KINGS have done it again!! I must say there's something about these three gentlemen who manage to bring out NYC's finest young African American professionals month after month. Providence is located right around the corner from Manhattan's famous Columbus Circle. The venue has three floors and is quite spacious for an NYC club. However, despite all of the space it was hardly big enough to hold the hundreds of people that came pouring in to have a good time on their long weekend.
The music was HOT the entire night and the crowd couldn't get enough. To top it off someone, (I don't know who) was making it "rain" the entire night. I got trampled over as men and women scrambled to the floor to pick up the dollar bills.
Overall it was a GREAT night and I can't wait until the next Three Kings jumpoff!
